I am looking at buying a convertible car seat. Does anyone have opinions or feedback on which ones are the best

We use the Sunshine Kids Radian 80 and LOVE it.  It's the only car seat my daughter has ever had because it goes from 5lb rear facing to 80lb forward facing.  So, we'll never need another car seat for her.  It also folds FLAT for storage - it's also a nice feature if you have to carry it on an air plane which we've done 4 times in her 9 months of life.  It's also a slim design so you can fit 3 seats side-by-side.  John and Kate of John and Kate Plus 8 used them.  We haven't had any complaints yet.

We purchased the Alpha Omega Elite.  It is rear and forward facing, and when they are too old for the five point harness it converts for use with a seat belt.  We haven't had any complaints about it so far.  We had it rear facing for my son when he was 8 months.  He is now 21 months and it still works well.
