Instead of buying an expensive toy box for all their "stuff", I go and buy storage totes and let the kids pick out spray paint for plastic and other paint and they get to paint their "bin" how they want it. It saves me money and they have a toy box that is personal to them. Hey when it gets beat up or they don't like it anymore it's only $7 to replace it plus paint cost which isn't much. This is fun for them.



Tip: Make sure they are in old clothes (it can get messy). Most moms would think of this but I had a brain fart the first time we did it, but learned my lesson quick.........lol
