Hi All,
I'm a mom of two...one has just turned three. Some days I look at him and wonder where the cute baby went. He is still very cute but I could use a break with this "new" child that has just turned three. Any advice?

I am in the same situation. I have a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old. My 3 yr old was a great baby and an even greater toddler. He turned 3 and WAM no more sweet Jonas. He does have good and bad days. There are days where it seems like he is in time out all day. When he talks ugly I tell him that is not the way we talk and I will only listen if he talks in a big boy voice. Same goes for whining. If I ask him to do something and he says no, he has a choice- he can do it (like go to bed) or I came put him there. Or like eating. He eats or goes to time out. The first choice works pretty good. There are also things that get warnings before going to time out, kind of to remind him. Others, he goes straight to time out, things that are 100% unacceptable. I know he can be worse but I want to stop it before it goes too far. Good luck and I hope this works!!

Deep breaths. It's hard and I still have very challenging days with my now 4 yo. Edward got better and listens and behaves very well fora few days in a row and then goes back to not listening to anything we say or having a fit over something. I started sending him to play therapy weekly. I hope it will help with impulse control. Not sure it will, but he loves going and insurance covers it so I figure it can't hurt. Good luck I understand what you are going through.
