I am not only a mother in law but I'm a mother in law 6x. My oldest child has been married eighteen years, and the youngest has been in a co habitation relationship with beautiful children for two years. Not to mention I care for ( to be honest, sometimes grudgingly) my live in 76 yr old mother in law. It's sometimes hard to keep a loving perspective, but I'm working on it. Some days I spend a lot of time venting to God and getting my emotions back on stable ground.

nothing wrong venting to God he understands your position and fustrations you are only human.

Thank you for the vote of confidence. I think the hardest thing I deal with in taking care of my MIL is wishing she were my mother who has gone to be with the Lord. I miss her terribly and often have to fight back temptations to compare the two in which case my MIL will always come up lacking, and just love and care for her as she is for who she is.
