My husband and I had to use follistim and AI to get pregnant with our now 17 month old daughter. There's no doubt that I'm going to have to use fertility drugs of some sort to get pregnant again. I'm leary about using shots again because of the chance of having multiples so our doctor recommends glucophage (spelling?) and clomid together since I have PCOS. I was just wondering what some of the results have been with that method! I built up a resistance to clomid henceforth the fertility shots and I was just wondering what kind of luck people were having with this route!! Thank you!

We used clomid 150mg with metformin and got pregnant on our 6th month. I did injectables as well previously and found I had less side effects with that then clomid!! :-)

Yea I was EXTREMELY moody when I was on the Clomid, but I had no problems on the Follistim shots....weird! lol!

I was on metformin (1500) and clomid (100) while we did our donor inseminations. It worked on the second try. I've heard femara is a better one to take though...clomid has too many side effects.
