I've noticed a lot of women on here that are having problems TTC a 2nd pregnancy have been on clomid...kind of makes me wonder if there's a connection. The fertility specialist I saw informed me that clomid should not be taken in more than 4 month increments without a 6 month break inbetween. Needless to say my ob already had me on it for 11 months. After 4 miscarriages and a near fatal tubal pregnancy over a span of 5 yrs, I finally got pregnant again, 2 yrs after the tubal removal. The HSG they did was horrible for me bc my only tube was partially blocked. They also had to cauterize some endometriosis that had totally encased the connected ovary. When I got pregnant I stayed upset thinking I'd miscarry again by 2 months. They put me on progesterone and now Ive got a handsome 20 month old son. Yet again, I'm not getting pregnant. drs can't figure it out but it's happened before....I hope just maybe this story will help some people have hope.

Thank you for sharing your story. The majority of miscarriages cannot be prevented. And women who have experienced more than 3 miscarriages will require special treatments from doctors or specialists if wanting to get the next pregnancy. Miscarriages can adversely affect infertility, follow the instructions to overcome the condition here: http://aboutgettingpregnant.com .
