Dear Angel Parents,
My names Stacey James and 15 months ago I lost my son to a condition called Edwards syndrome. He was diagnosed in the womb at 26wks,born at 31wks and lived for one glorious hour. But he changed our lives forever and the family and friends around us lives too. Fifteen months later and after having our daughter Lucy (4mnths old) my heart is still breaking.
We were never offered councelling, but I talk very openly to other Angel mummy's and daddy's, so much so, that I have now formed the APA (Angel Parents Association). Its a group on FB, but its under the strictest settings and no one can find it and to join it every member must go through me. Only those who have directly lost a baby can join, as its only us who truely know the pain and grief you are going through. Its a safe place to share your thoughts, feelings and photos of your Angels. There is also a chatroom for members only that can be accessed 24/7. The group is there to get and give support, and to share experiences.
If you feel that joining the group could help you, please add me as a friend and send the message ,"APA",.
