I have lost 2 sons in tragic car accidents in 1991 and 2004. It is not easy to go on. Men and women grief very differently. My husband and I went to an organization for parent who have lost children called Compassionate Freinds. It has helped us through alot of struggles. You have to keep the lines of communication open. If you can find a freind or family member that would be willing to talk with him on a regular basis might be helpful. He needs to talk about your son with soneone. And never be ashamed to get professional help, we are only human.

If you need to talk please feel free, I am a good listener.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

My daugter was killed in a tragic car accident. She was 19 and everything to live for. The boy driving was drunk and died at the scean.. My sons girlfriend survived. My daughter was flown by stars where we had to decided to turn the machines off. She left behind a 16 month old little girl.If only could go back and chance so many things We just got her a car for graduating it was a week old
This happened in 2007 and it seems like yesterday. If anyone understands I would. It's a struggle to go on every day. THe only part I have left of my sweet little angel is her daughter. She's so much like her. I see her in my granddaughter and hurts every day. People said it would get better with time , it only hurts more just like it was yesterday.

Thanks Peggy. I try to do that. I feel bad for our daughters. They are afraid to get him anything or tell him Happy Father's Day because they know he really doesn't care about anything on that day.

All you can do is be there for each other
