New here: lost my daughter to SIDS and now TTC

Hello everyone-
I'm new to Circle of Moms and this board. I lost my baby girl (my firstborn) to SIDS almost nine months ago. Her name is Naima and she was just over four months old when she passed. I miss and love her so much. It's been such a hard road, harder than anything I've ever had to deal with before, without her. My husband and I waited to start TTC until her one-year birthday, which was this past March, so now we are TTC a second baby. I'm excited and terrified and feeling depressed off and on. Just wanted to introduce myself and say I'm sorry that we have all had such terrible losses of our beautiful children, but I'm glad that we have found this group to get support. Sending you all a big hug.

Hugs i am sorry for your pain. I hate that your having to go through this. Its sweet you waited til her birthday :) lots of baby dust

I just recently lost two babies to miscarriage and i read ur story and cannot even imagine what you are going through, i am truly sorry for your loss. these people on here are really awesome and can be alot of help and support while going through these hard times. again i am so sorry and god bless you

Rona,

Once again, I am sorry for your loss of Naima. I feel like so much of the journey shared by women who have lost children wears on your soul.

We are towards the end of the 5 month mark and I feel like everything is hitting full force again. All the old wounds are new again.

We have been trying to TTC for a while- I typically have at least a couple m/cs before I can get one to stick, so we didn't feel like in my late 30's I had the benefit of time. I had one m/c again and am praying to get pregnant without another.

I think I may know you and Naima from the blogging world or another board. Just wanted to say if you need a friend on the TTC journey I am here.

im so sorry for ur loss..and good luck on the second baby.my son just passed march 19th at 32 days old of sepsis and necrotizing entercolitis. but he was not my first he was my 5th but i only have one other boy so he was much loved just like your angel naima.
