what about a dafodil (sp?) with a falling petal to represent each child? the flower can represent your son. Or baby foot prints.

It has been 15 years but I will always remember our son who was born still. I had stamps made of his footprints and handprints and plan to have his footprints tatooed somewhere. Just don't know where. I like the idea of somewhere on the foot because I know he walks everywhere with me. My oldest, our daughter, wants to have the same. She was 9 when he died and still memorializes him. He would have had an awsome relationship with her.

I have a tattoo for our angel on my right shoulder. It's a picture of hands meant as God's hands holding a baby with angel wings laying on his belly with his eyes closed holding a blue carnation in his left hand. Thats the flowers that were at his funeral. Above the picture it has his name Gabriel Evan and below it say Born Sleeping with his d,o.b and d.o.d as 12/13/08

My rememberance tattoo is the miscarriage awareness ribbon (blue and pink sides) with my childrens initials running down the pink side (3 girls) There are 3 butterfiles corresponding with my daughteres on the right side (blue side) and I have the initial A for Angel placed in the blue-pink crossover as we do not know if Angel was a boy or girl. My kids love my tattoo and I have not found anyone else with anything similar yet.

My son was a HUGE Eagles fan. So I have the Eagles insignia on my shoulder. His date-of-birth is on top and date-of-death underneath and there is a tear coming from the Eagle's eye. It is beautiful and I am so glad I got it.



Somehow you may want to incorporate using vines to represent the other prenancies or perhaps a road/trail to represent the previous pregnancies.......something to show your journey to your child.



There is a "stairway" to heaven picture somewhere on the internet that may be just the ticket. I will try find it and email it to you.

I have many tattoo's but by far my fave is my tattoo representing my sleeping twin angels (DOD Aug 24th and 26th of 2009) It's of their tiny feet, hugged by angel wings right above my heart. I think a lot of woman choose the feet, in order to always know that no matter where they go, their angels walk with them, have their backs, and are in their hearts...

I've got one drawn for my daughter thats a halo and angel wings. I'm putting her initials inside the halo and her foot prints below the halo. She was 11 weeks when she passed. Each mother goes through different things in different ways when a child passes. We all just have to remember that they're in heaven and won't have to go through the pain of growing up that we did.

I have been wanting to get a tattoo for the longest time, and I've known the design in my mind for years. My daughter Kayla was murdered 24 years ago, and I have another daughter Cheyenne who is 15. I want a tattoo of a heart with a rose through it, with Kayla's name on one side inside the heart and Cheyenne's name on the other. I've shown the design to my daughter and she thought it was a wonderful idea actually. It shows that they are both in my heart, but separated just slightly.

hiya i had a tat of my little girls footprints on the top of my foot, i toke in the ink print of her feet and asked him to do the tat the same as it was on the card and to leave no details out, it toke him 3hours to do and looks great, i had this tat done on my foot as now my little girl is forever walking with me, im also planning to have a another tat for all my other children who are with me, im having butterflies for my other girls which are all flying and for my little girl i lost (katyi) im having a butterfly with closed wings as she never got the chance to be free and fly and be herself xxxxx

I have my baby Angel's foot prints tattooed on my back. She was born at 22 weeks and passed away but the hospital took her prints and gave them to me. I also lost a twin and I am planning to honour him by getting a tattoo of his handprint on my back or somewhere on my body. I just can't do it right now as I am nursing the other twin. I also had 3 miscarriages so I am hoping to get some kind of a tattoo to represent them.
Something in the lines of stars of small little hearts chained together.

I have on my back shoulder a red bird holding a banner with my son's name in it...the reason i got that was after his funeral i swear to god i was looking out the window and this beautiful red bird was just staring at me and not for like a split second it was a good 10-15 minutes and for some reason it really made me feel better letting me know my jaylin is in heaven and doing well...it was probably nothing and my family thought i was crazy but i really really needed that

The day after my daughter funeral I got her name tatted on my fore arm a month after I added angel wings and a butterfly between them and heart stars and dots around the butterfly. my husband got a tatt of her face and wings with her name underneath & three roses underneath her name. they both came out beautiful and im gald we did it. it help with some of the pain I felt but of course no tattoo pain will amount to losing a beautiful child. I want to go back and get a picture of her on my as well one closer to the age she died. I think its a wonderful idea to get a tatt in memorial and everytime u look at it, it can be a beautiful reminder of ur child :)

Hi, I designed the tattoo that I got to honor my two babies that are in Heaven and the two that we have here. It is a vine with leaves and has four hearts, one for each child, with a little foot print and the first and middle name of my kids inside each heart. It winds its way from the back of my neck down to my shoulder and then down my side. There are stars and fairy dust all around it with flowers here and there. I had wanted to get a tattoo to remember them for such a long time (my children passed 7 and 8 years ago). The design came to me one night out of the blue and I quickly sketched it out...the tattoo artist loved it and used my design and my own handwriting for their names. It is such a great way to express your remembrance of your children.

I just seen this and wanted to share my tatoo. On my right foot I have 3 stars for my living babies. On my left foot I am getting a single star for the child I lost.I am going to have both feet with the stars shooting in diff. directions because I feel that everything goes full circle and by doing it that way we will all meet again. Im also going to have the words ~Love always~ on my left foot and on the right foot it will say ~and forever~

I have my daughter Chloe's (she was still born 5years ago) name across my heart and also have her star sign with the rest of my family on my neck, Also from the photos I recieved when in hospital all 3 of my daughters look very alike so my partner is designing a cartoon fairy style tattoo that looks like my 3 daughters, I also really like the star idea though. My Mum also has Chloe's name across her heart but with a feather behind it cos when she held her she was as light as a feather.

Hi, my child wasn't an infant when she died, but she was still my baby. She died in a motor vehicle accident last summer. She had just turned 17. I'm still so very devastated by her death and cry everyday for her.
In memory of her, I got a tattoo of her portrait on my left upper arm, with hearts all around it and a broken heart at the top right, with her name "Ashley, forever in my heart" written at the bottom.
I will always miss and love for the rest of my life.

It's a very personal extension of yourself. Me, I have 2 tatts in memory of my son, Jaiden. A rose through a heart with a butterfly flying away on my chest. Underneath that, 3 roses that represent my son, my son's father and myself with hearts flowing along the stem with a broken heart and a cross at the bottom. I also have on my back a celtic heart with wings. In the wings I have 2 small butterflies and Jaidens initials. I'm partial to butterflies, roses and cherub angels. Plenty of beautiful artwork and ideas out there to choose from. Keep looking around until you find what feels right for you in rememberance of your baby. Good Luck.

For my son Cruz who passed away at 7 months and 8 days from SIDS. I have a crucifix with a rosary hanging around it a banner wraps around twice on the top it says "Mi Papito" on the 2nd it says his name "CRUZ". It also has 2 flowers in background. It is on my lower leg and is pretty big about 8 inches long. My twin sister and her son both got memorial tatoos also. My husband is going to get his protrait however we have not found a tattoo artist with who does portrait tattoos with the skill we want. If you know of any please let me know. Thanks

HI Jessica- I completely know how you are feeling. It took me 6 years after I lost my son (at 17 months) to get the tattoo. what I did, was, I did a Heart, with Angel wings comming off of each side of it, then on the heart I have a banner that says "Noah and Cody" (representing my twin boys (one in which I lost) and then an "angel halo" on the top of the heart. Now, I am pregnant with my daughter, and I will have her name etched on top of the halo. so that all three of my children will be incorporated. Good luck! I am so glad I did it..

My tattoo is a turtle with a simple line drawing of a baby/fetus tucked into it's shell. The turtle represents strength and eternity, and the baby represents motherhood. I designed it and had it done within weeks of my daughters death. Then 2 years ago I had another small one, a vine that represents growth and new beginnings, done on my inner forearm.

I lost a baby boy who was ten days old on March 19th 2007. I had bought him a tiny blue teddy bear when he was still in the hospital and after he passed I carried the bear with me for a bit to help ease my pain. Last year I got a tattoo for him and when I think of him my first thought is that little blue teddy bear. So I have a tiny blue teddy with angel wings on my left leg. My advice would simply be to choose something that even 30 years you can look at, smile, and think about how much you love them.

My hubbie and I have matching tats over our hearts (mine is a touch lower so you can only see it if i want it shown) Our tats are one colour and very simple; our daughters name inside a partialy shaded heart. It simbolizes that she is forever in our hearts and the shading represents the heart condition she had.

My husband and I took our other 2 kids to San Diego right after the funeral for our son, Colin. While we were there, we both had his name tattooed on us. My husband would like to get his portrait done next to his name. I have a slight issue with that so he has now. At his funeral, there were butterflies so I'd like to get a butterfly added to where his name is. I want to eventually add our other 4 kids' names.

definately....ive got four children, 3 boys 1 girl. i lost my son at 20 weeks during my last pregnancy. id been wanting a tatoo for a long time but wanted something to incorporate them all without it being huge. i have a very pretty design on my right shoulder it looks like a flower with a few stems intertwined and where you would expect the buds i have small love hearts, they drop down like a bluebell flower would. the top heart has a light halo over it for my angel and the other kids are part of it too....all together it really is pretty. i dont know how to add a link to it on here but i will try to figure out how to show you.

I love it so much because it reminds me that even through i can't see him, he is still always with me. I have different tattoos for my husband and my older son. I didn't put his name on it b/c our aritist said ppl will read what u put and not so much at the picture. I'm thinking of adding "Always in our hearts" below it.

On my right upper arm i have some lilies on a vine with my daughters name above an thru it. Lily's because the flower for her month is "lily of the valley". Im not quite done but I got that one her 1 year anniversary. She will/would be 6 this year.

My husband got our angel's feet tattooed on each of his feet. Above one foot is his first and the other is his middle name. Then below one is his birth date and on the is the date we lost him. Our tattoo artist is amazing and they look identical to the birth certificate. I have tossed around so many ideas for mine and I haven't been able to come up w/ anything that I thought would do him justice. Finally I got it. I now have two beautiful daughters, so they will be little fairies flying above a flower w/ a baby sleeping peacefully upon a petal.

the forget-me-not is a rememberance flower for angel babies you could do that or a butterfly... I have one it has my son's name and his footprints...I lost his twin sister in the beginning of my second trimester... I used his foot prints and put angel wings around them with my little girls name at the bottom... I did it in all color so that it looks like the drawn on by my babies with a crayon...

My daughter got a tattoo of a flying dove for her brother, between her shoulder blades, with his signature reproduced when he was in grade 3. All black, like he took a marker & signed her. I like a the idea of a dove or a star.
