my baby boy "Angel" was still born on october 14 ,2008 and sometimes late at night i still have a dream or maybe i actually hear a baby cry and i instantly wake up and sometimes think that maybe ive been in a horrible nightmare for a very long time and i know that it sounds crazy ,but i was just wondering does anyone else have this dream and i wonder how long until i can sleep through the night without feeling this way ........................

I understand what you are going through. It is one of the hardest parts about going through this (in my opinion). I used to dream about my daughter coming back to life, but then I would realize it was only a dream. Also, I worked at Target at the time and there were always babies crying in the store and it was SO difficult to work and listen to those babies cry. I just couldn't help but remember.....

lt doesn't sound crazy at all. l heard my son for a long time after he died. He wasn't a baby anymore, but it was a sudden death and he called out to me 'Mommy, come get me'. l would wake at night thinking l heard him say it again.
Noone can tell you how long until you can sleep thrugh the night peacefully. Grief is a process, l'm sure you've heard the steps. The hardest thing is to accept that he's gone forever, but that is what it takes to find real peace in your life. That was hard for me since it was a closed casket, we never did get to see him after he died.
l'm sorry for your loss and l'm sorry noone who has experienced the death of an infant has answered you before now.
