"The Loss that is forever" is a great book in my opinion for anyone who has lost a parent as a child/young adult. My father died from cancer when I was 15 and my mother and I do not have any contact with each other or relationship. Anyway, this book has stories and experiences written by adults who lost a parent as a child and how it affected them. It really helped my work through my feelings and made me feel better that others felt the same way I did.

I have that book!! - "The loss that is Forever" and "Motherless Daughter". I did not finish the Loss one. . .maybe it was too much for at the time and maybe I should revisit it!! Motherless Daughter was amazing. . .it was like reading my about myself!! - Having lost both parents at a young age - it has been a life-long struggle and I am very passionate about kids today who have to suffer that loss so early in life!! - I have a bookshelf of books if anyone was interested!!!!

I have read some of the book Motherless daughter's and it seemed really helpful. I've been meaning to buy it and read the rest.

I lost my mom when I was six and a co-worker recommended the book "Motherless Daughter" . It is very difficult to read because everthing in there I have felt at one time or another.
