Seasons Greetings Everyone! Hope your Thangsgiving Holiday was a good one. \r\nMy kids had a rough start this morning after the long weekend, but they made it to school. Winter break is just around the corner and the excitement is building. Finances are tight everywhere and the budget just doesn\'t allow for an abundance of store bought gifts. \r\nMy kids and I are preparing homemade gifts this year. It gives us a great opportunity for one on one time together, and gives them a sense of pride to know they made it themselves.\r\nPlease share with everyone how you are spreading your holiday cheer this year.

We always make chocolate covered treats then go hand them out to some of our friends and family. The kids love it especially when they get to sample the goodies :).

We're doing the same this year. My 11 yo son is going to help me bake sweet breads and cookies for family gifts this year. I'm hoping it will be a good memory for him and quality time together.
