You can hide any chocolates inside the balloon and cover it. After that you just hang it to the fan When your daughter going to cut the cake then switch on the fan the choco's will get spread it out and its like chocolate shower. I did for my sister's child birthday occasion. Try it out.

My daughters birthday is December 14th. We do slumber parties with fun activities like playing rock band, twister,the buzz game, pin the tail on the donkey,pinata's, do talent show's, ect. You can buy crafts to do also. Last year we made tie dye shirts and bought stuff to decorate the shirts with, there's this like color glue type stuff gems you can buy and patches. Or you can do make overs. you can have a costume party. I always put on the invites will pick up and drop off if they need a ride please RSVP. There's also skate parties, bowling parties, in door water or amusement park parties, ice skating, bounce houses, arcade parties like Dave and Buster's, laser tag or rock climbing parties, Gotta use the imagination. My friend had a pirate party. Everyone's dressed up as pirates and they made telescopes out of things from home like paper towel rolls and silafane, hats from newspapers, just use the imagination, Or you can have a party in the summer to celebrate his/her birthday

My daughter's birthday is on Christmas Eve and we are going to start celebrating her birthday in June. That way is is easier on us, other family members, and having a party. That way we can focus on her birthday and she can also have friends over to swim or whatever and not freeze to death.

Thanks. We don't have a problem with family. They have always did her birthday different from the holidays. In fact, my brother's birthday is 2 days after. We moved to a different place 2 years ago and if has been hard to find something to do. Thank you for your suggestions.

I am in the same boat my sons b-day is 4 days before christams its hard because for one most people are so focused on christmas they dont put aside time or a present just for his special day and most people put his bday present in christams wrap and say merry brithday I try really hard to not show him that I hurt for him because lets be honest I dont want him to think bdays and christmas are all about gifts and want him to really appriate anything he is given at anytime and to just appriate the thought is what matters I have tried to have his birthday at the beginning of the month and to no avail it snowed so hard not one person came and we sat together in the living room set up for 30 plus guest by ourselves my heart just broke for him . i know its a hard time a year for people both finacially and time wise but trying to make them see this is a important day for him too is tough I dont think people realize the whole picture but I dont think anyone has bad intentions or wants to overlook his bday it just seems to happen .

So over the last couple of years I have just tried really hard to make that day special in everyway possible we started a tradition of going to b-fast having pizza for dinner and going to a movie or play of his choice and then we go to our towns lighted park and have hot chocolate its hard to try to stay away from things that are not holiday things because they are just everywhere I wouldnt worry to much about incorperating them into her bday just so if you are doing things that are holiday things its for her bday like making a traditional bday thing to do like we are going to a christams play FOR your bday .
