My ex (bio father of my son) was diagnosed with marfans syndrome when he was a teen. Though my son's pediatrician was told all about it, in the beginning, the office went from paper to all computer and somehow all my son's file got lost. So, at his last well check (7 year) I mentioned again about the marfans. The pediatrician said she doesn't think he has it, but I'm not so certain. My son also has a heart murmur (was never heard until he was 5), so she refered us to a cardiologist. My son is tall for his age, and has very long skinny arms and legs, but they don't look quite as disproportioned as some pics I have looked up about marfans. Also when my son runs, it is very sloppy (for lack of a better word). We go in a little over 2 weeks to the cardiologist, and I'm scared. My son is a very active child and loves sports. I guess I don't really have a question, just looking for a little encouragement.
