Hi Lorri-ann, it's nice to meet you. I just got my computer back from being fixed. Got alot of catching up to do!!! Your son has TS and bi-polar? I'm sure that's a hard road to be on. I always thought how it's hard enough for a child to have one affliction, but two or more...that's just sad. Now I find it happening to my son, so I try not to focus on the sad. We just move on to the next thing and hang in there! Matthew has had TS since he was 6 and now his doctor thinks he has Fragile X Syndrome. So now we've been to our first two appts. for that, next is having blood drawn...that should be fun :( Then we have to wait about 4 weeks for the results. I am not a fan of waiting! So now we're in the process of finding a therapist to work with him on his anger and emotional meltdowns. I hope you find this community helpful...I sure have. I'm glad I started it. The posts have slowed down from time to time but there has been some really good advice and helpful information. It does make it a little easier knowing that you are not alone.

Welcome, it isn't the fastest board but we all care and get around as often as we can. I have a now 6yr old with TS/OCD and varied other medical issues. She is in all day-K this year and doing well with very good involved/listening teachers. We are fortunate but then again I don't sit back either and have been very involved in her school life and address problems as they occur for Faith and the school's benefit really. Give us time, the rest will introduce themselves too. As someone put it before....we are all taking care of our TS kids (popping/locking kidsters). It really is nice to talk to others in our boat that is for sure. Take care-Kim Dinsmore
