what are the chances ?

i am a 43year old mother of 2 grown children, both of whom are having babies this year. aug an sept of 2011.. i had a tubal ligation after my daughter was born almost 20 years ago... my ? is i have not had my period since feb of this year.. could i be having a baby as well as my children ? or am i going through the change of life... thou i have not had any hot flashes,, have had many mood swings... little thing really get to me, at work as well as at home.. could it be stress.. for my husban was just put in the hospital. he couldnt breath , could it be from the worries about him living or passing on... next friday is his 51st birthday. planing on getting a home pregnancy test to make sure . praying its just from all the stress...

You'd be one of the lucky ones who doesn't experience many symptoms of meno: I may be entering it soon (I'm feeling hot quite often, and not THAT kind of hot!), but my mother said it takes 1 yr of not having your period before you know that you're in the clear! I can't wait until that day for me...I am now off birth control (age 49) and I want to have sex without any worries and without any pills/chemicals injested in me!

sorry that this is posted so long after your post, but, have you gone to your ob/gyn? i'd strongly suggest that you go.... there are many reasons, some good, some not, for your symptoms, and your doctor is the best, and really, only place to get the answers you need.
