Hello, anybody at there listening. I stick in a empty house with no kids. I would love get a life but how do I get started? I'm havng a hard time Finically. My husband got layoff. So money is tigh. I have been reading alot just catching up with all the Oprah..I love Dr. Oz. Lifetime Movies. But really that can not be my life. TV I have already been though monopause. No motivation. Hell I realy have nothing to talk to husband about. And really don't want to. Ohoops did I say that to loud. :) I stick. Everything I would like to do cost money. Well, I started a New Conversation.

Volunteer for something! It's a great way to get out of the house, help others, and learn new skills that can be valuable in the future. It may not be easy at first, and there may be things you'll have to learn, but there's nothing like the great feeling you get when you know you're doing something valuable and worthy, something that means a great deal to a lot of people or even just one person. What's great is that it doesn't cost anything to volunteer.

My mother is almost 80 years old, and volunteers all the time. It was a real blessing to her after my father died. She gained so many friends, and is so busy now that I almost have to make an appointment with her to visit! :-)
