my doctor told me to have sex and instead of going to the bathroom right after, let the little soldiers stay up there for a little while. I also heard that drinking castor oil. It gives you diarhea but makes you want to push. It worked for my cousin. But dont take it if your any bit early because it will give you diarhea but wont make you start you labor. It will however make you dehydrated.

I agree with Melissa. I had a massage about a week before my due date and the next day went into labor. Find an LMP who knows how to work on pregnant women and how to work certain pressure points. A really good point is on the ankles. It was really effective for me. Good luck.

I did one jumping jack and went into labour that very night, 4 weeks early. This wasn't my intention, I was actually just curious if I could physically do one still... and voila.

I was 8 days overdue and I was told to try a million different things and none of them worked. Personally I think they are all oldwives tales! Your baby will come when he or she is good and ready. Hang in there!

I have heard the same things as Beverly. But some other ones are castor oil - 1 tbsp. Or even a massage. I had a back rub, the next day I was in labor. Good Luck!!!

The number one thing my doctor told me to do is to have sex. Walking also helps. I've also heard that spicy foods can work, but that may be a myth!! Good luck and I hope the baby comes soon!!
