lactose free milk?

Silk does indeed make a soymilk that has DHA and omega 3. :) Saw it in the Wal-Mart yesterday!

i say try formula again but give him enfamil nutramagen. Its lactose free and worked great wit my daughter.

I'd stay lactose-free. Try Silk soymilk - they may have something that's got DHA and omega 3. I drink Silk, tastes yummy! :)

My daughter is on milk free and lactose free formula which would be Soy formula. Since she's been on it she's been doing a lot better and she's only 3 1/2 months old. I usually have to feed her some type of baby food 2-3x's a day to make sure she get's everything she needs as far as nutrients goes. But you should talk to your pediatrician first before making any changes.

I have a similar issue at my house. My son, and myself, are allergic to lactose AND the milk protein. So he drinks the Silk Soy Milk and absolutely loves it! He prefers the Vanilla, and I can't say that I blame him; plain soy milk is gross! You can always give it a whirl, and see if it works for your child!

Best of luck with the switch over! It can be tricky sometimes, but hang in there! =)

my daughter was on it for a while cause the doctors could not find out what was wrong with her, my doctor said it will not hurt her and she would be fine on it even if i just left her on it

my son was on lactose free milk for quite sometime with no problem, obviosly talk to your doctor but we used lactaidand owen did great on it.

i would say that he would be fine on the lactose free milk. My best friend's son is lactose intollerant and he does just fine. She uses soy milk for him and just supplements his diet with other foods. I would talk to his doctor and see what he says, but it shouldnt be an issue for him

My son has been drinking Lactose free milk for years and is fine. He did break his leg last spring and that worried me, but the doctor said that the break made since with the cause and his bones are fine. The xrays put me at peace. He can still get the other nutrients he needs from other foods. Such as fish. Good luck.
