Hello Ladies, my name is Elsie and I am new to the group, but am in need of ideas. My little girl Sophia and her school are celebrating 100 days of school and need to decorate a tshirt with a 100 items on it, I am welcoming any ideas. Unfortunately I was not blessed with the gift of creativity so I'm asking the wonderfully gifted mothers' out there for help!!!!. thanks.

how much work do you want to put in? buttons are a nice idea, you can go to a craft/sewing shop and get small ribbon rosettes, glitter beads that you can glue on, great iron on designs and arrange of items to create a theme...I have a son so I'm not inclined to girls stuff but pink always work and build something around what she likes. Embellishments on the sleeves, neckline and hem of the tee shirt would look fantastic.

I don't know if you want this to last or if this is a one day thing, but the easiest idea would be stickers. Choose something you daughter really likes (hearts, puppies, Barbies, whatever) and stick 100 stickers with this theme on the T shirt. Like I said, it won't last but it would totally work!
Another idea would be to use fabric paint or markers and write 100 of something on there - smiley faces, letters, numbers, etc. . .

100 hairclips, bobbpins, bottlecaps (the plastic and ones from a can). 100 crayons...they have this paper where you can iron on a picture and print up 100 of something. its so easy. i did 10 shirts in 30 min for my son's bday party once. you just get a plain shirt and print and iron, thats it. im the least craftiest of all my sisters. good luck!

I like the button idea, you can get lots of cute ones, go with a theme she likes (ladybugs, hearts, rainbows). maybe bows, you can buy those already made to just glue on, too.

Will she be wearing it? If so it will definatly need to be light weight like mini marshmallows, macaroni, or popcorn. Maybe even just get a bunch of cool buttons if you n ot very crafty just hot glue them on.

100 is only 10 x 10, you could cut up old tshirts or material into squares and sew into 10 strips, then sew the strips together, to make a patchwork square of squares. You could do this with a poster too, just have fun together looking through old magazines and cutting out 100 great colours, pictures, animals, cars, whatever takes your eye, then stick them into a collage.

This was awesome! My 5 year old son just came home with a 100 day project. Same idea but we can use a poster in place of tshirt. You ladies are the BEST!

My son had to do that but instead of a t-shirt it was a cut-out valentines heart. I would use stickers. You could also have her dip her hands in paint (each finger counts as 1) and handprint the shirt. I also used pictures of family (each person counted as 1) and those styrophome hearts from an arts & craft store. Maybe little rhinestones too. Have fun!
