Hello Ladies,
I'm new to circle of Moms....so far so good!!! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Candice and I have one son. His name is Kai and he is 4 years old. Even though Kai is the only child i've think i done a pretty good job not spoiling him....actaully the last few year it has been my worest fear turning my son into that one child you just can't stand. You know that kid in the store who is screaming their head off because they didn't get the latest toy or a candy bar. or even that one kid who just won't stop talking back to their parents and how they just think it's the cuties thing!!! I know my son has not reached that point and now that he's 4 he is getting older where i see him growing into his own person. Well, I'm glad to be here and I hope I can learn a lot from you other mother out there!!!

Hello, everyone!
My name is Tia, and I have a 7 year old son named Tobias. He likes to be called Toby. He is in second grade this year. It has been a very exciting year so far. We live in WA. Moved here from San Diego last Sept. due to economy stuff. I am a full time student at a local college, and my hubby has a job that he enjoys. I also work on-call for a retirement facility. Homework, and bedtime are always fun times for us. We are a close family, we share openly about all sorts of things in life. I don't believe in sheltering my son. I prefer to educate him myself with the ways of the world. Due to Toby leaning toward the hyper side of ADHD, we instituted a chore chart, t.v. time, and a schedule of sorts. It is fun, overwhelming at times, but always rewarding to be a parent. I love my other half and my Lil Man very much. They bring me immense joy each and every day. Looking forward to hearing from other mothers. Blessings to all. Tia

That is what really count is that you are putting the effort into raising a respectful and beautiful child I am sure he will turn out great. I hope I am doing the same. At times I wonder though. I have one daughter and she is 11 and she sure can challenge me at times.lol All in all she is a good kid though:)
