Would love to talk to other mothers of only children to see similarities/differences in this area -- mine is 6yrs old and in 1st grade.

My daughter is 5 yrs old and in Kindergarten. She's very outgoing & makes friends easily. She spent 2 years in pre-school which I think was a big help since none of our friends had kids at the time, so it helped her to learn how to interact with other kids. I think it also helped with simple social skills: sharing, listening, manners, courtesy.
