Whole Food Supplement

I recently began taking a Whole Foods supplement. The best thing would be to make sure my child eats a variety of whole foods rather than providing her with a supplement, but reality in our life means that my daughter does not always get the amount of whole foods that I'd like to see her get on a daily basis. Being a schoolage child, I can send carrots, apples, bananas, peppers, cucumbers, etc..in her lunch, however, I really have no way of knowing for sure that she ate it or took one bite & tossed it in the garbage can to get out to recess with her friends. I'd feel better providing her with a supplement containing whole foods in addition to a variety of whole foods in her diet, but the one I take is HUGE & requires 3 a day! I split in half, but then she has to take 6 pills (in her mind) daily! I looked into Juice Plus & was more than impressed, however, I'm curious if anyone found one that was more cost effective? $100/+ mo. per family is high! Under $30 for child only/mo.???????

I have a friend who sells Shaklee, and they offer a children's vitamin for around $30 for a two-month supply for non-members, as well as other nutritional options.
