I saw that replied to a post before on red bumps all over a ladies sons body. I have the same problem and the dermatologist told me it was fleas. I am not in denial, but it is not fleas. We do have pets but we do not have fleas they are professionaly treated and he is the only one with these bumps. We used to think it was bug bites but Im not sure anymore. This has gone on for yrs with him and one time I counted 78 on his two legs and 48 on his torso and arms. But he never has them on his face and lower arm area. Which makes me think maybe the detergeant, but i dont buy cheap stuff. I have no idea what to do. He scratches them and turn into scabs and hes starting to get scars from them and he's only 9. I don't know what to do. He does have super sensitive skin, always has. He started to wear deoderant and he broke out until I got the hypoallergenic brand, and that works for him. What detergeant and dryer sheets should I use or soap???

Without knowing further detail..it's hard to know..could be an allergic reaction like the others said, or like my son, he has eczema/sensitive skin. You should check into that and maybe have your son see a dermatologist to determine what the cause is.

My 1st baby broke out in what we all thought was Chicken Pox...Turns out he was allergic to Mosquito bites...More than 3 or 4 and he would get chickenpox like bumps all over....They didn't itch him , they just looked like it...And here we thought the Chicken pox vaccine had failed him

Has he had any new medications lately? My son broke out in hives after the first time that he used penicillin - a lot of times in babies the allergy doesn't manifest itself until after ending treatment. I'd talk to a pediatrician ASAP.
Good luck! Kim, from justamomha.com

Sounds like it might be an allergic reaction to food/formula (if you're using milk-based try soy), or maybe your laundry detergent/fabric softener. My daughter was very sensitive to Bounce...went through 4 brands of drier sheets until I found one that worked (turned out the generic one from Wal-Mart was good).

does he have sensitive skin? I have to be careful what laundry detergent and bath soap he can use! I use tide free and his bumps have gone away! He would get them really bad on his arms and sometimes legs!
