My son is turning one in October & i need help with planning the party!!!!!I wanted to have crafts & games that were related to being outside & being in the fall that were age appropriate for 1-12 yr olds. I was think of everyone decorating their own little pumpkin to take home.. Please help me with some ideas...

I like the finger paint idea! I have done that stuff with my son! We will be having his 1st birthday party here in a couple days and we really won't be doing crafts but my son loves to dance so we will have lots of music and dancing (the Mickey Mouse Hot Dog song is the best)!

I don't see anything wrong with seasonal crafts for an activity during a bday party. With my son's last 3 bdays we've just done free play w/ride on toys, pool, cars, & his bday presents. Actually w/his 1st bday we had it in a park cuz there were older kids, my son wasn't even walking yet :) But he's July so it allows for more outdoors stuff! Keeping them busy is always good when inside! My friends child's 1st bday they had a bunch of games that were totally age appropriate for the older kids that were there, but didn't even come close for the 1 yr olds... Gotta cater to your crowd! 1 yr olds are easy to please! :) I suggested for someone's 2 yr old october bday that they could go to a pumpkin patch? If you are set on being at home just think of games they would have there that may appeal to your crowd? bean bag toss...bobbin for apples is good, but maybe on strings that hang from a rod, cuts down on germs...I guess a cake walk would be senseless :) maybe play some board games? You could always have a movie handy!

Thank you so much, i've been looking all day at websites but havent seen those yet. Im also looking for crafts for older kids, like up to age 12 or so. I liked the idea of the pine cone bird feeder, you know where u spread pb all over it & roll it in bird seed. then hang it up with a string. I liked that idea along with the pumpkin for fall, but didnt know if it was appropriate for a b-day party. i also thought of bobbin for apples.. Im obviously new at this..lol
