22 week old baby - developmentaly newborn -1 month old level

Hello im new here. My 22 week old daughter has just been assessed by a private ot and she is at a newborn - 1 month old level. The ot said that she needs fortnightly app. and for me to do therapy with her everyday. There is no tests being done or anything. I have an 8 year old son with high functioning autism, hypotonia and ADHD and a18 month old with suspected haemoplegia cerebral palsy, heart murmurs and hypotonia. My boys were slightly delayed but not to this extent.

Do you know of a good paediatrician in perth WA that i can take her to. We are at PMH and they want do anything we spend 5 minutes with the paed. and then we are sent on our way.

I also have 2 step daughters so I am spread pretty thin as it is with doing therapy for all 3 kids at home daily. I just want to make sure that I am doing everything that I can for her

I don't know anything about Wa but I live in Iowa and my daughter has hemiplgia cerebal palsy and is very developmentally delay and she receives theraphy weekly it sounds like you could really use some help with all of your children.My advice would be to call your local department of human services and ask them for help they should be able to direct you in where to go for help.Has your daughter been checked for fluid on the brain?My daughter was born with fluid on the brain and for the first 5 mths it was like having a newborn all day every day.I hope you get the help you need and your children deserve.

hello mache' thankyou for your reply. I live in perth wa can you please tell me what UCP and SSI check is. My youbgest son is only entitled to speech, physio and ot 5 x 30min sessions every 6 months and my 8 year old isnt entitled to public therapy as he has autism. My baby only got 2 physio sessions and that was it. So my partner and I are paying for private therapists for all 3 children and its really hard financially.

I might want to check at your local UCP center even if that not the diag of CP they do all types of service in your home or at the center . I;m sure you know that your 8 year old can get a ssi check started to help with his medical and living supports. Our local area UCP offers a RESPITE CARE PROGRAM and will aloow you 200.00 per child to hire your choice of babysitter to allow you and your spouse time alone to talk or go out I would recon, you call the local one and ask to speak to a social worker/Case Mang. to ask what services is available.
