Hi, my name is Donna, I am brand new to the circle of moms and would like to "meet" any moms who have a child with type 1 diabetes. My 6 yr. old son was diagnosed at 3 and is taking 4 shots a day. I would just love to converse about up and downs other moms experience.

hi my name is Melissa my son is 7 and was diagnosed at age 4 with type 1. he was diagnosed with ADHD last month and is on a pump. it was a relief when they diagnosed him he was constantly high and i could not figure out what i was doing wrong. he was hospitalized in june with severe dka.

hi, i have a daughter that has type 1 diabetes she was diagnosed on oct 9th 2010 at 18 months old --- its been a little over a year now and we still stuggle

Hi my name is Zuri... my son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on 11/1/11 he's 3 about to turn 4 on the 21st of this month. my son went from being a totally normal healthy kid to having to prick his fingures 6 times a day and getting shots 2 times a day. its been hard but we're getting throw it well enough..if you ever need someone to talk to about it let me know cuz i totally know how it feels....ttys!!

hi Donna , sorry to hear that your son has to go through all that i can feel him and you on that i don't have a child with type 1 diabetes but I do have type 1 also found out that I had it when i turned 17 on my b-day infact .. but I also have a niece that has the same would love to talk to you where are you from maybe if it's not to long of a long distance phone call for you just call i live in Asheville NC if that sound ok to you just let me know
