feeling extremely frustrated in regards to getting mobility equipment for my son who will be 4 in August he has segmental spinal dysgenesis and cannot walk so requires a wheelchair which he has but wheelchairs are not exactly all terrian so I was trying to get him a push chair (the special tomato EIO model). I have finally managed to get it ordered from the States because I refuse to deal with ECO Medical here in Edmonton,AB who is the dealer for it. Everything in Canada costs twice as much as the states. Even paying shipping and customs it is going to be way less then what they want for it here. The lack of communication I found from the dealer in Alberta is unbelieveable it seems like they have the attitude that we have no choice but to go through then so they don't care how they treat you. I am unfortunately going through them to get a Rifton Dynamic Stander for my son but that's only because it was on order before I tried to get the pushchair and that is actually what caused me to not want to deal with them. I can't even get an ETA of when it MIGHT arrive. Has anyone else faced this sort of nonsense???? Should I just prepare myself for the nightmare it will be trying to get Ty medical equipment....
