I have a 15 year old son born with spina bifida (meningomyelocele) the most severe case of spina bifida.

Thankfully none of mine were born with Spina bifida, but I had a brother who was severely paralyzed at birth (apparently it runs very strongly in our family). Although he only lived to be 24, he surpassed the doctors' belief that he wouldn't live 24 hours. He had a full life with the family. He was my best friend and I miss him terribly.

I also have a 15 yo son born with spina bifida myelomeningocele....originally from the west coast...but currently live on the east coast...where are you?

My daughter has spina bifida also, same form. She's 2.
