My son was born December 21, 1999 with a chromosome deletion of 1p36. It was rare at the time. I was wondering if there are any other parents out there!!!

my son turned 9 today, he was diagnosed when he was 3 years old... what are some of the typical behaviours of your son? My son has a lot of temper tantrums, his good days are really good and his bad days are really bad... looking forward to learning more about your son :)

Hi, Kelley Thanks for the information. I really dont understand how they do the chromosome the way you put your childs. When i had my daughter they just called it a chromosome abnormality of the 6th chromosome a deplacation . I will go to the site because i would love to find kids with the same thing my child has. Because when she was born no one knew anything. So thanks so much...... Ann
