She was tested when she was born and they determined then that she had "Mosaic" Downs Syndrome.She was testes by a genetics center at the hospital. She is higher functioning and some of the physical characteristics aren't as pronounced.

How did you get them to test to see if she was Mosaic? I want to get my son tested but I'm not sure how to go about getting it done. From what I understand they are higher functioning, is that correct? Are there any other differences?
