In addition to behavioral therapy, I would suggest speech therapy as well. It could be possible that he's incredibly frustrated since he cannot tell you what he wants or feels. My son was throwing tantrums a lot before he started speaking, once he was able to communicate (with a lot of effort on my part and the speech therapists), his temper dissipated a lot. He still cannot make full sentences (he'll be three in Oct.) but he can say singular words: milk, juice, ouch, yuck, up, etc.
I'd be happy to give you some speech therapy techniques I learned with my son's therapist if you think it would help. :)

yes I do! We are constantly battling and even have behavioral therapy for my four year son...You should try to get him some behavioral therapy,it works pretty good most of the time.our boy also has developmental delays and slight cerebral palsy,he was born 26 weeks gestation and wieghed 1lb and 10 oz. and had a huge brain bleed!

he has chronic respiratory distress, and developmentally delayed. he doesnt walk or talk but when he throws tantrums i cant seem to calm him down unless he has tv and i want him to get out of that habit cause he does it in public too. i need help.
