Hi everyone,
My daughter has always had delays started talking at 2 1/2, walking at 15 months... She is now 9 1/2 and I'm worried about her future.. She has low Muscle tone, has a hard time making friends, Hyperactive (ADHD), Dose not understand simple things like how to take a shower/Hygiene.. She was diagnosed with ADHD about a year ago and then the Pattern making, Lining things up and Charting started. We have had her tested for Fragle X (normal) I think it is some for of Autism/Asperger But all the doctors no. :/ I just worried if we don't find out what her gift is she my not get the help she will need to live. So stressful.. Can anyone relate? Info would help thanks :)

Just an opinion, but look at muscle related issues (for the low muscle tone) like Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral palsy, like autism, it has it's varities and there can be mild and severe, if she is walking, it is probably mild, or something else. I would get second opinions regarding the aspergers (just to rule it out). Hope everything works out for you.

My daughter has CP and her general doctors were clueless when it came to diagnosing her, we had to go to a specialist.
