If you have what are your thoughts on it? Does it work for you? Did you change any of the steps to your household? Would you recommend it to others?
I have been shown some of the steps and think some will work and others won't but I am not sure if I take adjust it to my son if it will lose the benefit.

It's also a way to give the problem back to the child while not upsetting yourself. I learned about it when my 14yo son was in a behavior/substance abuse facility. I think most of it is common sense, some of it is unrealistic for normal people to do, but there are some key words/phrases you can learn and apply to your daily living that will work

The Love and Logic program is a way for parents to help their children make decisions that are right over wrong ones by showing love to the child that is logical at the same time. It gives the child the power to decide what they want to do, however the options they are given are ones the parent can deal with.

Yep! I have taken several classes (free through the community center for developmental disabilities) and loved them. Like anything you take what works for you and yours, leave what doesn't. I've always been an advocate of information. The more I know, the better I am able to deal with things that come up.
