It has been suggested that we work with a school system to do homeschooling/attending school. where she might go to school 1-2 days a week and homeschool for the rest. I'll let you know how it goes ;)

If possible find someone to go with you it makes it easier on you to have another set of eyes and ears. Also don't sign the IEP take it home and read it, something I am just now learning to do. Even if you think you agree completely take it home and read it before you sign because some times the person that is typing out the IEP will word things a little differently and that can make a big difference. Get a real good night sleep the night before and remember YOU are your child's voice and no one knows him better then you listen to your in voice.

This is True and I will see if I am able to do it,from my understanding I can stick with the infant n toddler program/early intervention where they come to are home or wherever he is to help up untill he is 4 and if during that time I want to change to the school program I can. However once IEP meeting and I sign papers saying for him to go to a school that will fit him,I cannot change my mind So alot is going on,and less then a month to decide

I would find out what your options are and how they recommend you choose one. Like another mom said, see if you can do a trial of each one. I have heard that if your child is being enrolled for speech delay being with other children, at a young age, often helps rather than hinders as it might for older kids. Just a thought!

Remember that if the IEP is not working you can call for another IEP meeting at anytime. IEP meeting's can be overwhelming, butThey are not written in stone. You can make changes, but the school has to follow it they can not change it without your permission.

Ask if you're allowed to trial in the classroom before agreeing. Monitor it. Also, don't sign anything unless you know you agree, and if you don't agree, sign that you DO NOT agree and return it within 10 days.
