Hi, we just got the test results with the Williams Syndrme :((((

We really don't know what will be best for him: continuing a normall kindergarten or a special one where there they will work with him on Physiotherapy, speech therapy etc ... i have an old son 3 years old and i"m pregnant due date by the end of MAY.

I don't know anyone with WS child and would very much to know in what Educational framework between ages 1 - 3 years old you choose.

my daughter will be 5 in july, she has williams syndrome, she was diagnosed a year ago. She went through 2 years of pre-k; one normal class and one special class. this year she's going to a special kindergarten. my advice GO WITH THE SPECIAL CLASSES!!!! my daughter didn't learn squat in the regular class, with the special class EVERYTHING has improved!! don't think of william syndrome as a bad thing, its really a blessing!! if you need anything at all let me know!! i also have 2 little ones, one who's 3 and another 4months, so i know it's hard to juggle but it gets easier!

Hi :) I don't personally have a child with WS but a family friend of mine does. Although it may seem like a daunting diagnosis, for the most part our friend is very healthy and actually gets a kick out of tricking people with his age :) I think that if there is a special needs school/program available to help your son, and ultimately you, along the way, I whole heatedly believe in early intervention. My daughter is special needs from birth and has been in a special class since she was 2 months old. Not only did it help her by being around other kids like her, it helped me cope with her diagnosis by being around other families in similar situations. I hope this was helpful!
