my son was born at 28wks..... need advice

Due to a non functioning placenta I had my son @ 28wks. He spent 3 months in the NICU almost died twice. was diagnosed with bronco pulmonary Dysplaysia. Came home for 2 months on oxygen ended up getting influenza a & pneumonia was sedated for 1.5 month's his right lung collapsed 2 times and his left one once. It got to the point they were talking about pulling the plug........ he is now home again will be home for 2 months on the 17th. He will be 9 months on the 10th.. he now has a g tube cause he aspirates , he is still on oxygen and has been diagnosed with hypotonia. He's just now starting to roll over. I'm a 1st time young mom. I have a 3 yr old step son as well. Just need some friendly advice I guess.

ONE DAY AT A TIME MY FRIEND... THE GOOD THINK IS HE IS HOME. WOW HE IS ROLLING OVER GOOD BOY. ONE DAT AT A TIME....

Hey Hun, My Son was born at 31 weeks, he had a brain bleed and he lived in the hospital for 5 weeks. We had it fairly lucky, but I made some amazing friends in the hospital because I lived there with him for the whole 5 weeks. There was a little boy there named Christopher, and he was born at 27 weeks. He had many of the same problems as your little guy, and I'm happy to report that 2 years later, he's bigger than my son and he has the cutest and funniest personality ever!
My son didn't crawl until 1 year old, he didn't walk until well over a year and a half and he still has problems running and climbing etc... But just because your little one had a rough start doesn't mean that he won't blossom into a wonderful little boy! My son is now 2 1/2 and he can talk up a storm! He knows his colours, shapes, and can count to 11! lol I am also a young 1st time mom, I had Noah at the age of 20. Don't get discouraged hun! ♥
