My daughter is 12 yrs old, diagnosed with NF1 at the age of 6 mos. She has had problems since labor. She has ADHD, a sleeping problem, small tumors on her eye vessels and found out last year that she has a growing brain tumor. I pray everyday that it goes away but i know its not likely unless God steps in.

my daughters are 6 and 8 with NF1. They don't have seizures, but they do have learning disablities.

It is scary, watching my sons and worrying that they will develop more complications. I was told 3 yrs ago that my 10 year old's tumors were growing so fast he wasn't a candidate for surgery and would probably die in 6 months. Thank god the tumors have slowed down and he is with us still.

both my kids and myself have NF1, we are all very mild and I am hoping that my kids stay that way but they are still young.
