my daughter i only 2 but i am really worried about the issues of her having the food compulsion. i was wondering if any one else has this issue.. and if so if you would mind sharing the signs i need to be looking out for.

My husband's cousin has Prader-Willi, so hugs to you. James is almost 19 now, and yes, they have to lock up all food. People with this have NO sense of feeling full, they will just eat and eat. James has quite a few behavior issues that revolve around food as well. The biggest thing to worry about is developing Diabetes from a health stand-point. Try Googling Prader-Willi on Yahoo Groups. They have a lot of support forums out there.

She have prader-willi and they say that they can get where they don't know when they are full. and crave food all the time. to the point that you have to lock up all your cabinets.. i am worried she will get this side effect of the syndrome.

I am not sure if my son has a food compulsion, but he has a limited meun that he sticks to. He loves things that crunch, cereal, chicken nuggets, pizza, crackers, dry cereal, etc. He does eat a few things that don;t crunch like pudding, donuts.. but not many.
What is your daughter compulsion?
