Hi all i have a four year old son with a very rare disease that effects his muscles and swollow etc.His been peg fed all his life no food or anything allowed but just wondering he has to be siting for an hour 4 times a day to be fed and now his just started walking its becoming more difficult to get him to go in his chair to have his bottle, just wondering if anyone knows if someone has designed something so the kids can play and be peg fed without having to be stuck in a chair for an hour 4 times a day

as far as the being able to play whule on the feeds he can use the feeding pump backpack. If you don't have one there are many people that make them. What medical condition does he have? Friend me on FB & I will put you into a couple of groups that will be more than happy to also help with this.

thanks michelle ans sharlene great ideas we do books and stuff like that i am trying crafts and stuff he has a big problem with concontrating for more than 30 secs on an object he watches dvds and tv sometimes but not really that interested his peg feeds go for an hour so when he doesnt stay amused that long it makes it a bit harder.

My son has Mitochondrial Disease & has a peg tube. He plays his wii or with his DS. We've done books, make up stories, crafts all kind of things. He is 11 now & still loves all of that & he was dx'd with Mito @ age 2 1/2. Hope that helps. You can also friend me on FB. Michelle Bowen Ingram.
