My son was a regular two year old boy. Happy as can be and healthy.He was born premature and got a trach when 3 months old. However a week ago he suffered a severe stroke, due to medical mal practice, leaving him just about brain dead..it kills me to see him confined to a bed when he was so full of life. Has anyone been through this? I can use some advice.

I am so sorry to hear about your son my daughter was born with trismony 21 Downe's Syndrome and as of last March started with suendo seizures which just could say turned my world upside down she had to be home schooled last 6 weeks of the school year.
Brittany is 19 and will Lord willing graduate this year again I am sorry to hear about your son I will keep you in my prayers and you need to talk email me my name is Wanda

My 23 month old daughter had a stroke in April. Spent 7!weeks in ICU, another 4 weeks on the floor and then 5 weeks in rehab. She still isn't swallowing, sucking (eating), walking, talking. We are in pt, it, speech weekly. I just have to have faith that she will be okay. How are things now with your little one?

Thank you and I'm sorry to hear about your daughter. My son seems to have progressed a little he can now open and close his eyes and maintain his temp. Doctors say he will not come back and it's sooo hard to hear. I'm in shock and disbelieve. I have talked to a social worker she has been great.. I just lose it and don't know how to handle all of this. Is your daughter going to get better? What happened to her?

Im so sorry to hear about your little boy. and the experience you and your family must be going through this. How is he now? My daughter has be in ICU ,with infection on the lungs for weeks . Have they oftered for a social worker to speak to you and your hubby.
