Hi, moms! My name is Terri Amos-Britt and I am an intuitive life coach, otherwise known as a spiritual coach. I am a mom of two teen girls, 15 and 17, was married to their daddy for 17 years until he passed away. I was a step-mom to his son from the time he was five. He's now 25. And now I am remarried to a wonderful man who has a daughter that is 16. If after reading this you can figure out my life, you are doing great! To put it in a nutshell, I have three girls, 15, 16, and 17, living under our roof now.

I love being a mom and have enjoyed my kids so much through the years. The thing I struggled with, however, was not taking care of myself. I found myself angry, frustrated, and just downright wanting to run for the hills. I HATED having knee-jerk reactions to my kids! So I decided to change my life. I went on a spiritual journey and found my gifts to help other families. I've been doing it for years and love it.!! I'd like to invite you to my website, www.EnlightenedFamilyInstitute.com where you'll get information, guided meditations, articles, and lots of tidbits and tools to help your family heal. And be sure to check out my Calendar. My class, The Enlightened Mom, is awesome! It doesn't teach you how to parent your kids. It teaches you how to love and honor the way you were created. And as you do, you become a more loving wife and mom. I hope you'll check it out. We also have on the site a page called Ask Terri & Charlie. This is free coaching for you to help you through life's issues.

My mission is to be of service. I love moms and know that we are the grounding of our family's lives and home. I have a mission in my heart to help families heal. If I can be of service, please let me know.

Have a beautiful day!

Terri Amos-Britt

Dear Terri,

What a wonderful post, I was just glancing thru as one of my young mom's sent me a request to join the Circle of Mom's and thought I would check it out. I too am a mother with a blended family. I was married to my childhood sweetheart at 21 and we had 2 children. Chanel (24yrs now) Brock (19 yrs) after 20 years of marrage we divorced and God sent to me the man of my hearts desire. We have been married 10 years now . We came together with his two boys Chad (22 yrs now) and Kendrick (19 yrs). When our daughter was 15 she came to us with a girlfriend who was living on the streets. Her father had died when she was 3 and her mother was currently in jail. We went through all the legal motion and got guardianship of Elizabeth and she came to us at 15yrs old and 3 months pregnant. Our family became a family of 7 with one on the way. To date: Chanel is engaged-living with her fiancie and they have my granddaughter Kaylin, who just turned one. Elizabeth: Lives in an apartment in town, with our 8 yr old grandson Devin. Chad: is away at college pursueing his education.

Brock: lives in an apartment in town with his best friend. Kendrick: still lives with us, along with a friend of his from KS Jace is also 19yrs old.

My husband Howard is the Youth Pastor at our Church in Enumclaw, WA, and we both have a distict calling to saving this generation.

You are an awesome mom, May God bless and favor you in all you do and in all the people that you reach and make a difference in their life.
