Is she getting to much insulin. They might need to change her dosage.

Thanks! She's going on her second year now and this is the craziest it's been. We have talked to the doctor, still trying to figure out the right ratio! Thanks again!

sounds like you should talk to your dr and get her insulin fixed. food that are high in fat or protien will help to keep her blood sugar up longer things like cheese, eggs, peanut butter, peanuts, avocottoes (sp) fatty meats like bacon. take those things and make something fun with them. like mix peanut butter with sugarfree syrup put it on bread or crackers, guacamole on chips. fruits and sugary things only stay for a short time hope this helps. Ive had type 1 diabetes for14 years i've learned a lot of tricks over the years
