The pain does eventually dull as time goes by, but it will NEVER go away, when my son died 9 years ago, I lite candels for every holiday that passed for the first couple years just to show he will always be remembered. Now I write in journals addressed to him as time goes, it makes me feel like he is still with us in spirit, although I do wish he was with us physcially. You will have your good days and you will have your bad days for teh rest of your life dealing this tyoe of greif, but just remember, even during your bad days, your little girl will ALWAYS be apart of your life ♥

I deal with it one moment at a time. I take the day off work and I do something special in remembrance. Every year you feel less like you're dying and the good memories will stand out more and more.

I find that talking to friends and family halps a lot. My husband and I do around Christmas is we adopt an angel from the Salvation Army's Angel Tree. We always get a little boy that would be around the same age that Adam would be that year. His birthday is about a week after Christmas so the holiday season is always hard on us.
