Have you ever won a contest?

Yes I did , I had to submit a 103 word blurb about my mom or grandmother for mothers day to a raido station... Long story short ... I won a diamond ring... and Since it was my grandmother I submitted it about and it was my grandparents 50th wedding Anniversary and my grandfather never bought her a diamond ring like he had promised all those years ago. My grandmother was also a foster mother for 34 years taking car of 117 fostkids over that time.. and she takes care of my kids while I am at work. I figured after raising that may kids she at least deserved some kind of diamond. I gave her the Ring. They interviewed us on the radio and some of the foster babys even called her to say they had heard about it on the radio...

I have won 3 dance scholarships, and state swimming events. I won a lot of coloring comps as a kid, one was the Australian Safeway/Woolworths one where i won a years worth of chocolate and a huge Cadbury Yowi case filled with the whole collection of Yowis

I used to dance competitively and won lots of stuff from that. I also won a photo contest once and got $100 plus my picture was put into a really nice hardcover book (which I bought for $50+tax+shipping = about $80 - lol).

I won 1000 Air Miles in a radio contest, which was cool. And I recently won a $20 gift certificate to our local winery as a door prize.

So, nothing HUGE, but not too bad, either.

I won a arm wrestling contest and in school every time you read a book u got to enter your name into a box i used to win something weekly lol mostly more books operantly i was a bit of a book worm lol.O and last year i won 250 i entered a contest at bowling lol.

never anything other than like a doorprize type of contest. i went to a comedy club, and won backstage passes to a 3 doors down, lifehouse, and tantric concert.

pfffft. I don't think I ever won anything. EVER! I think think only thing that would come close is getting 1st chair in an All City Orchestra (Viola) in middle school. What I got was the pride, but that was good enough :)

I won a contest to design a cocktail dress for Plymouth Gin. I won £25.
I won another contest to design Joseph's amazing technicolour dreamcoat for our school production. Got £5 for that one.
And a won an Easter bonnet design competion. Think I got an Easter Egg.

I won a karate competition.. umm, there was only 1 other person in my age catergory, so not much a reward.. I won a joke ocntest when I was a kid and got a free pizza!

I've won talent contests singing , I've won an icecream eating contest where if you drop it your out well i dropped it picked it up and ate it and still won , i won a kitchen sink full of icecream haha I was a grotty kid .
Ive won surfing competitions when i was younger but I don't compete anymore although I am thinking about entering the Mambo surf comp next year .
