Breaking bad is an amazing series , so heartbreaking , infuriating , frightening , sad , action packed , anything that can evoke that much emotion is definitely worth watching .

I think one of my favourite movies would have been Pursuit of Happiness (Will Smith, and I LOVE Will Smith). I've also really enjoyed the Underworld series. I think Braveheart is a bit of a favourite too.

I did enjoy 2012 as a great evening of entertainment, but would call it necessarily an outstanding movie, just awesome special effects.

LOVED Avatar. I have only seen it on the big screen in 3D so far - we do have it DVD but haven't sat and watched it yet.

Oh, and the one I saw in the holidays with the kids - How to Train a Dragon, that was fun :) And who doesn't love the Shrek franchise?

I know there are a hundred others, but I can't think of them at the moment :)

I bought Avatar for my husband. I can't watch it, though... at least not yet. I get really worked up while pregnant, and literally wanted to bash in the TV whenever that military asshole came on the screen! I'm going to try to watch it again when I'm not hormonal.

I love odd movies. A lot of the stuff Seth Green does that goes directly to DVD or is released in other countries. My absolute favorite at the moment is Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. It has Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day, and Nathan Fillion in it. I also love badly done horror movies, like Trillogy Of Terror II.

i'm not a blockbuster kindof gal. i love stupid funny movies like billy madison, superbad, stepbrothers, blades of glory etc. i can quote till i go blue in the face....
"you scratch my back, i'll scratch yours!"
"yeah, the thing about my back, is that it's actually on my cock." stuff like that gets me everytime!!
"you sound like a combination of fergie and jesus christ"
"gross, did you see that guys balls?!"
on and on i go. we do it all the time at work, it passes the time inbetween idiots, i mean customers.

i also love serious films. schindlers list is a good one. i love crouching tiger hidden dragon, american history X, the godfather is my alltime favorite movie.
when i was younger the princess bride, and the goonies were my fav's. i also loved stand by me sarah!
too many for me to think of right now, i'm sure someone else will bring up some of my favs.

Simon Pegg is a legend!
I watched the first half of Avatar and then went to bed! Not that i wasn't enjoying it, but when the choice was that or bed, bed won!

My fave ever film is Stand by Me. I also really like The Wedding Singer.
Loads more....too many to write out! :)

I quite liked 2012 but it was a bit cheesy and typical hollywood convinience in the script. I love films and do like big block busters but I really have to say I love british films the best - I think the way they focus on the characters rather than just effects is great, plus the humor is very suited to me. In Bruges, 28 days later, Run Fat Boy Run and Shaun of The Dead are all great british films.

Sara you have to admit the visual effects where good in 2012, there where bits that pissed me off like not one African nation was on any of the arks but they head our way After expecting help nice...lol or the out running the prophylactic cloud yip like you could lol.
I don't do subtitles i can never read them fast enough, and miss the movie because im trying to read lol
The notebook was sweet

I though 2012 was kind of cheesy...sorry Emma! But it was good entrainment for one night.

My all time favorite movie is an Italian film called "Life is Beautiful" or "La Vita e Bella". It's hilarious and heartbreaking at the exact same time. At the end of the movie you don't know if you want to laugh or cry...seriously I'm not exaggerating. Its about a man (who dearly loves his wife...love the beginning scenes where he wins her over) and his son that are in a concentration camp together and he keeps his son from knowing the reality of it by making it into a fun game. Watch it in Italian with the English subtitles. Much more beautiful than watching with the English voice overs.

I haven't seen either of those, but my girlfriends came over for girl's night last week & we watched "It's Complicated". I was left with 2 thoughts. First, wow, I'd love her house, car, wardrobe, job.... nice life! And second I felt sorry for Meryl Streep that she had to see Alec Baldwin naked in person. Ugh!
