Kayle~ It could be worse...I went to school with a girl whose last name is Nipple, she got teased mercilessly. And her dad's name is Harry (Hairy made me remember her). All I could think when she told me that...is that his parents must have hated him...lol

Well my mother says my name is supposed to be pronounced K-lee my father says it's supposed to be pronounce Kale. So I guess I was born with two names.

But other than that. Kayle Monster. I guess I was a monster of a baby. I stuck with that til I was a teenager. My grandpa still calls me monster.

Last name I got Hairy ass. Not too funny.

I was called Jules, My last name is Beer so I got Bud-Wise-errr. Bud, Miller ect, I had a teacher in Jr. high that gave all the kids Nick Names. Mine was BeerNut. ..

What I got when I was preggo with my daughter was .. of you should name her Anita and make her middle name Nother... As in I need another Beer.

My sister still call me Ree Ree, or mom when she's feeling cheeky. She likes doing this in public and she is only three years younger than me.

Let's see a little boy who lived on my road couldn't say cathy and it came out like catfa, a friend overheard and I became catflap. Then there were the over similar sounding words, cafe, coffee...

oh goodness, i hardly ever hear my name. I was Babs, Barbie (HATED) sis, stinky from grandpa. i loved pickles and soon was nicknamed that, which was shortened to picks.

I hit puberty and put on some weight, my brother closest to me in age started calling me barbara the barbarian big butt, or barbara the barbarian buttlicker, and those caught on in school and hurt. So to this day i dislike being called "barbara" and opt for just Barb.

Highschool we all decided we would change our girl names in for boy names, my friends started calling me "Bobbie" and it stuck, to this day all my high school friends call me Bobbie, i don't think they even know my real name LOL.

Once i became an electrician i acquired the nickname "sparky" for, um, well, lol, obvious reasons and my husband calls me "girlie" so much that is what his friends call me as well. Our clients tend to call me "girlie" or "sparky"

My second grade teacher called ne Joanna Banana. But that's it. I've been pretty lucky I guess. Our daughter is going to hate us when she gets older though... My husband nicknamed her Poops (first night in the hospital she pooped so loudly my husband heard it through his headphones while watching a movie).

My name just gets progressively shorter the better you know me. So I'm Anika (or Anita if you're my boss. Dumbass), then Nika, then Neek, then Nee. My best friend calls me Neeky or if she's feeling crazy, Neeky Noo. When I was a preschooler I had a ride-on shaped like a shoe (it was the early 80s, go figure) and so my mother still to this day calls me 'Sneaker', which has even been shortened to 'Sneaze'. Oh and when I was about 13 my Dad started calling me "Princess Zitterina". He is the biggest goofball so I took no (long term) offence. He also called me 'Al Bundy' the entire time I worked at a sport shoe store. Yup, he's one of THOSE Dads.

No nicknames as such, just horrid names...I used to get called things like spaghetti junction because I was tall and thin.

Oh and my dad has always called me Maria, my middle name for some reason.

My Paw Paw called me Dixie. I don't know why, but every grandkid had a random nickname.

Then I was Saree Q. And when people outside my circle of friends asked what the Q stood for, I would make up random answers. Quentuplamae was the most common.

My maiden name is Potts. Some of my guy friends thought it would be funny if I married someone with the name Moker. Then I'd be Sara Potts Moker. Say it fast. They went so far as to look up Moker in the phone book. For several years I was known as "Potts Moker" around town. Even to some of the adults.

Hmmm.. in elementary school I was nicknames skin disease if that counts. (I had eczema and kids are bloody cruel..)

For some reason my rugby nickname was "Howie" and I was too afraid to ask why..

I'm known as Kate at work, because French people can't pronounce my name properly and it drives me nuts.

Sometimes I'm known as Lola.. That's a funny one from when I used to play World of Warcraft, my Character name was Lolalock (as in "Laugh out Loud a warlock" shortened) but for some reason people thought my name was Lola, and that kind of stuck.. Besides, I kind of like that one..

Normal ones. Lace, LaCi, Chichi< because of teachers horrible attempts at pronouncing my name



CiCi for a while in college due to a spanish professor who, no matter how many times I told him my name was LACI would always say CiCi.



Snorff through middle/high school, I don't even know but I embraced it.



I really don't care what people call me though. Probably because I've heard my name butchered so many times it just doesn't matter anymore.

when i was young family called me panda, because it rhymes with amanda, and then when i was in college my rugby nickname (jacket name) was 2000 flushes (all because of one night of far too much rum, and a whole lotta praying to the porcelain gods!) and i obviously hate it

kati is my nickname, lol. kathryn is my full name. ummmm, when i was pregnant i got called a lot fo names by people at work, weeble, or turtle were the ones that stuck. one lady still calls me turtle 11 years later.
