Planned or a little surprise?

Both where big surprise's..... and both had the worst timing.
We fell pregnant with my daughter 3 days after getting married, and a week before i lost all my savings in a business deal gone bad so we where broke... and we fell pregnant with our son when our daughter was 6 months old we where just getting back on our feet and where knocked right back on our ass...
Thank goodness for my mom and sister's as without them we would never of made it.

Haha! DEFINITELY not planned....not even possible as far as I was concerned! I didn't find out I was preggers 'til I was 19 weeks...gah! You could imagine my surprise.....the first indication I got was by belly showing!

Conner was a huge surprise (we'd only been sleeping together for 3 months, dating for one lmao) and with Brooklynn we had agreed to have another baby, so I went off the pill dec 21 and we were preg by jan 5 (so she was a bit of a surprise too lol)

I was on the pill with my oldest. I never, ever wanted kids. It was a complicated decision but we decided to go go ahead and had our daughter. We discovered we didn't enjoy other people's kids (not you guys) and immediately decided to have one more.

I had an IUD put in and we used that for 5 years. We thought we'd get some practice and have a spring/early summer baby, I had it taken out and was pregnant on our first time having sex three days later. That one time of baby-making sex was amazing though (and effective).

Michaela was a planned surprise. At the end of August 2007 the OB told me that because of the endometriosis it would be highly unlikely that I could conceive if I didn't have surgery, and then it would still be dicey. I decided to stop the pill, because there was no point. And if we got pregnant by some miracle, then great! I conceived on Halloween of 2007, not 3 months later. I'd gone off the pill only a month & a half earlier. My husband credits his super sperm. He works at a nuclear particle accelerator so it's possible, lol.

We were thrilled when we found out. We went to the drug store to get a 3rd test, and all the way he had the window down in the car, with his head sticking out yelling, "I'm the man!!" Dork.

But Krista, I didn't properly perform my 'wifely duties' of cooking, cleaning, and sex to his satisfaction. Seriously, THOSE were the reasons he gave in court for the divorce..... Nevermind that I hate cooking (and suck at it), but still did it sometimes, we lived in a DUMP, and had sex 3-4 times a week.

Yep, I lost a winner there..... gqtm.... And you have no idea how much progress I have made to actually be ok w/ this divorce and admit that I'm better off. Really sucks that the kids don't have Daddy on a regular basis, but I am FREE!!!!

My son took 2 months to conceive. That actually was more like work... I believe that was because of who I was with. He wanted a kid, I wasn't quite ready, but I gave in to make him happy... then he left. Now I couldn't imagine even dreaming of imagining my life without Corbin! He's my life and my love!

It took only one month of tracking my cycle to get pregnant wtih Lynn (who will be here soon). That was fun, though... again, because of who it was with. This time, 'I' was the one who was ready for a child and waited for my husband to be ready, too. We both decided that it was time, and I started to track my cycles "just in case". Turned out that I didn't need to...

Logan was planned. After 15 months of trying he was finally concieved. I was a week away from starting fertility treatment and was relieved that I wouldn't have to go through that. By the end of the 15 months we had forgotten we were "trying for a baby" and it certainly didn't affect the passion. Apart from that I couldn't make a chart to keep track because since stopping the pill I had no periods and I have PCOS too which can make you infertile.

My eldest was a surprise, although I was pretty crap at remembering my pill! I used to "double up" when I'd forgotten one and stuff, but it caught up with me eventually!

My youngest was planned. We thought it would take longer than it did though. We started trying, and then when my next period was due, it never arrived!

Surprise considering i was on the pill with both of them , ok the most recent pregnancy i was on the pill , i ran out and we really wanted to do it so we thought "eh what could happen , ive only missed todays pill "

I was on the pill the next day but too late i fell pregnant , one day , no pill , BAM bun in the oven , i swear all i have to do is think about sex with Jamie and i fall preggers LOL

He was a surprise but we weren't using protection. We haven't been for a year when it happened.

I actually thought I had mono. I went to the doctor on friday and he said that I had an upper respiratory infection. He put me on steroids, decongestant, and an inhaler. He never asked if I might be pregnant, but he was only in the room for 7 mins. i timed him because I had been to see him one other time and didn't think he really took his time with me.

So I took the meds for the first two days then on sunday it hit me that I had not had a period in a while. So I took one test but the second line was very faint. We went to the store and got another one and it pop right up.

So back to the doctor. This time I saw a lady at the same office. i liked her much better. i was so happy.

We came home and told my dad while he was reading the paper. He looked up from the paper and said, " Well its better than nothing." Then he went right back to reading the paper. Of course the closer I got to having him the more excited he was. Now he is the proudest papaw in all the world.

Tried for all, didn't plan for twins. ;) I suppose you could say we didn't 'try' for the girls since I got pregnant the very first month of trying, but the pregnancy was definitely planned... and a surprise. ;)

I went off all birth control May 1, 2005 and didn't give birth to my son til March 27, 2008 so..... Also had an early miscarriage in January of 2006 and 2007.

I don't think I've ever done the ''passion' thing though... just one of the many reasons my ex hates me I think....

My daughter was a surprise. We were married for 14 months. I was just learning how to chart. I thought I had already ovulated, but apparently if you ovulate late you can have more than one temperature spike. It was weird because I went home without my husband for 11 days. When I came back he said I looked different and when I told him I was supposed to start my period that day he told me I was pregnant. I took a test a week later and I was. His response, "told you so" lol. I honestly don't think we'll plan any of our kids. I'm kind of surprised I'm not pregnant again already. I have a feeling it will happen soon.

I got pregnant the weekend before I left for my trip. I just read that and it almost sounds like I got pregnant at home away from my husband...lol

well my first was definitely a surprise, totally unplanned!! in fact i had a miscarriage the month prior, and put myself on the pill and used condoms to prevent it from happening again! his sperm were pretty persistant, lol!
second and third were planned. i thought with my history of getting pregnant at the drop of a hat when i didn't want to, that having a baby when i wanted to would be super easy. sure it only took 4 months after i stopped taking the pill, but i thought i'd be knocked up the day i stopped!!
my last one i stopped taking the pill in august, got pregnant right off the bat. i was heartbroken when my husband had his car accident at the end of august cause i thought since his injuries were such that sex was out of the question, that we'd have to wait forever to conceive. we got a little shock about a week after he got out of the hospital when i found out i was pregnant!

Ours was planned. We were in the midst of building our home, and so when it looked like things were well underway, and we were going to be moving in within the next 8 months, I went off the pill. I did chart, but only so that if we were having troubles, I'd be able to show the chart to my doctor to help pinpoint any issues. I wasn't scheduling sex or anything like that -- we just let it happen when it happened. So I went off the pill in May and got pregnant in November.

Eliza is what we call a "planned surprise." We were at the point where we were both ready, so I took my last pack of pills and didn't get a refill. We honestly thought it would take us a few months since we weren't trying (as in counting days for ovulation and such), we were just not preventing. When I didn't start my period, I thought it was just because my body wasn't used to the change of no hormones. But I took a pregnancy test for fun. We were a little shocked!

He was totally planned. After 2 years of trying and nothing.....we saw my OB/GYN and put us on meds to help. It took 6 months. I have to admit though, it became kind of like a job. Sometimes the passion was there but most of the time it wasn't :( Very sad to look back and feel that way, but it is back so no worries :)

Ours was a pleasant surprise :) I mean we really should have seen it coming, being so careless and all. But I wouldn't change it for the world. Just the right timing really! The next one will probably be planned for sure because now we know what happens when you don't use BC! Shocking I know!
