One of the most awesome bands At the drive in :
One armed scissor .

Lyrics : yes this is the campaign
slithered entrails
in the cargo bay
neutered is the vastness
hallow vacuum check the
oxygen tanks
they hibernate
but have they kissed the ground
pucker up and kiss the asphalt now
tease this amputation
splintered larynx
it has access now

send transmission from
the one armed scissor
cut away, cut away

banked on memory
mummified circuitry
skin graft machinery
sputnik sickles found in the seats

self-destruct sequence
this station is non-operational
species growing
bubbles in an IV loitering

unknown origin
is this the comfort of being afraid
solar eclipsed
black out the vultures
as they wait

dissect a trillion sighs away
will you get this letter
jagged pulp sliced in my veins
i write to remember
'cause i'm a million miles away
will you get this letter
jagged pulp sliced in my veins
i write to remember...

This is my favourite song. It can change daily depending on my mood!

Yanni is a composer and the chick singing (Chloe) is just 20! She wrote the words. I do like other stuff too but I looove Yanni.

Ooh and I added one more. LOVE FLORENCE!

Live life like you were dying was on the radio all the time when I was first in America, we had just found out my mums partner had been diagnosed with cancer and had probably 6 months to live so the song was pretty significant to us - he lasted 4 years though. We still love that song when we went back and heard it it always made us smile aand Iain and I would sing along at the tops of our vioces as the kids looked at us as if we were mad.
The other song that was on a lot had a line it it - would you dance for me jesus - whuch just made us pee ourselves laughing - no offence meant but you would just never hear that on the rado in the UK so it was a little weird!!

My musical tastes are all over the place. I've got music playing now and the last 3 songs I listened to were: Walk This Way - Aerosmith, Live Like You Were Dying - Tim McGraw and 99 Problems - JayZ with LInkin Park. But my guilty pleasure is 80s hair bands - I'm not afaid to admit that I love the hair bands. Here's a classic for you

OMG Coheed and Cambria, I hate that song but not because it's bad or anything but I had to sing it about a million times in rock band 1 when I was trying to complete the tour on expert - I did though, then Iain made me do it on his log in so he would get the achivement points.lol!

Hogmany in Edinburgh is just the best, where you there for the festival in the summer, it's just the most wonderful atmosphere across the whole city centre. I met Iain on the night of the fireworks to mark the end of it all.

Love the City love the people, if we where ever to relocate back to the UK that's where i would live with out a doubt.
And o yes the weather I was 18 when i moved there from Cape town so did not own real winter cloths lol i got off the bus from London with a grand total of 200 ponds and no job and no where to live lol, I had just decided to move there on a whim i used to do that a lot. I Froze my butt off that winter and used to walk everywhere as to save the bus fair lol
And yip the pub was in the Zone for the huge Hogmanay street party they have. the millennium party was amazing...
I have a few interesting story's about that place i can tell you lol

We moved away from Edinburgh in 97, our mums still live nearby so we do visit occasionally but don't go up town all that much. That must have been some experimce running a bar that close to the centre of town. Don't you think that Edinburgh is just one of the most beautiful cities ever with the gardens and the casltle. If it wasn't for the crap whether and the fact that there's no work for Iain there we would never have moved.

Iain and I had a student flat in Leith walk one year, Buchanan St and I worked in a nursery right down the bottom near the old swimming pool for a while. When was the last time you were there, it's changed so much?

i've got a question for you emma. my husband was snooping on youtube and found a band that is apparantly huge in south africa call die antwoord. now, the first video i watched was so funny i about pissed myself, and i couldn't tell if they were joking or not. looking further into other videos and comments, it seems they are HUGE over there. i did look at some other music videos and it was alot better than this one. it's so weird how music differs so greatly from country to country, BUT, i think we can all agree that at minute 1:13 -well, lets just say i am speechless!!

I do the house work to Slip Knot not sure why has become a bit of a habit, i also love Edith Pieth, the Parlour Tones, Bob Dylan, Nickel Back, love old blue eyes too.
Think it might be quicker to say what i don't like, I hate trance, and deep house :-( hubby loves both ... and classical music and Orchestral makes me want to slit my wrists lol my hubby loves that too ( i appreciate there ability but ive had more than enough after 10 mins)
